HST has hit the ground running in 2022. With several exciting announcements, including the acquisition of Simplify ASC and the launch of HST Home, HST has also undergone some notable leadership changes in recent months. Reinforcing HST’s Core Values of “agility” and “growth mindset,” HST is eager to share the following changes in key leadership roles.


Key Investments & Leadership Changes


Chief Customer Officer, Tara Vail: Former HST Chief Growth Officer Tara Vail is now taking on the important role of Chief Customer Officer. As our customers continue to be a key priority for HST, we remain focused on customer delight and delivering a customer experience that is second to none. In her new role, Tara will be dedicated to ensuring our customers are satisfied and successful. Following an impressive 90% year-over-year growth for 2021, Tara will continue to drive the customer obsession that has also allowed us to achieve a customer retention rate of 97 percent.


Chief Innovation Officer, Gavin Fabian: Gavin Fabian, formerly Chief Product Officer, has recently stepped into the role of Chief Innovation Officer. Gavin’s passion and proven track record in entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and building products customers love are vital to the success of HST’s innovative thinking and continued growth. With his innovative spirit, Gavin will be tasked with (1) building speed and innovation into a major competitive differentiator, (2) growing our addressable market via new product development, and (3) advancing a company-wide culture of innovation.


Chief Revenue Officer, Nick Latz: Nick Latz joined the HST team in March. Nick brings extensive experience in marketing, sales, and customer success, further strengthening HST’s position in the ASC marketplace. As Chief Revenue Officer, Nick will be focused on overseeing the business activities that impact HST’s revenue stream across the organization.


SVP, Head of Product, Jason Park: With a recent internal promotion, Jason Park is now the SVP, Head of Product. In his time at HST, Jason has driven dramatic improvements in operational efficiency in Tech Ops and Interoperability and implemented CSAT Metrics across support and patient engagement teams, helping to ensure a peerless customer experience. Jason will focus on the critical innovation necessary in the ASC marketplace and continue to deliver the best products HST can offer to our customers.


Sr. Director of Data Science & Insights, Will Evans: Will Evans recently joined HST with a background in data science and economics. He will be focused on providing customer delight through critical peerless data quality and delivering actionable insights to HST’s existing customers and important growing customer base. Collaborating with the product and engineering teams, he will work to build a robust data lake that provides customer’s ease and secure access to data.
