Tara Vail
Since joining HST as Chief Operating Officer in 2014, Tara has been responsible for training, support, marketing, and product management during a period when the company’s client base increased by 250 percent.
She has deep expertise in helping healthcare organizations leverage information technology to improve operational efficiency and revenue cycle management. Her introduction to HST came when she was Vice President, Finance Operations, for Surgery Partners, where she oversaw the selection and implementation of a unified ASC practice management system that enabled the company to improve workflow, facilitate operations, standardize reporting, and enhance the management of financial processes.
Before that, she served as a radiology software sales executive for acute care hospitals and revenue cycle expert for corporate owned independent diagnostic treatment facilities.
Tara holds an MBA from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and a BS in Psychology from the University of Florida.
