BILLING & INVENTORY
Insurance Notes for Smoother Appointment Workflows
Give registration and authorization staff quicker access to key payer information. The addition of Insurance Comment field surfaces important insurance‑related notes directly within patient registration and appointment workflows, helping staff make faster, more informed decisions. By centralizing these details, centers can reduce overlooked information and minimize delays tied to authorizations and coverage verification.
Improved Tracking of Patient-Reported Height and Weight
Clinical staff can now easily identify when a patient’s height and weight were self‑reported during pre‑registration and view them alongside measurements taken by the ASC on the day of surgery. Staff can also choose to enter or review measurements in either imperial or metric units. This added clarity and flexibility helps highlight any meaningful differences between patient‑reported and clinically measured values that may influence care.
Support credentialing and billing staff in maintaining accurate provider records with stronger NPI requirements and validation. All new and updated provider entries must now include a valid National Provider Identifier, with built‑in checks and clear error messages to prevent missing or incorrect information. This improved validation helps reduce claim delays and denials, minimizes compliance risks, and ensures providers are correctly identified on claims and payer transactions, leading to fewer revenue cycle disruptions and smoother reimbursement.

Patient Texting & Pre-Assessments
BMI Displayed in Staff View of Pre-Assessments
Now in the facility view of the pre-assessment, in addition to seeing the patient’s height and weight, staff will now see the patient’s BMI automatically calculated for their review in the system.
Expanded Patient Identity Verification for Form Access
Patients can now use their mobile phone number as part of identity verification when accessing their health history form. Patients will need to enter their first name, last name, date of birth, and mobile number. As long as 3 of the 4 fields match exactly, they can access their form.
Adding the mobile phone number makes identity verification more flexible because names are more likely to have variations than mobile phone numbers. Even if a patient’s name is entered differently, such as with a suffix, nickname, middle name, or another common name variation, they can still access their form as long as 3 of the 4 fields match exactly. This helps reduce patient access issues while maintaining a secure verification process.
