Platform Enhancements for Your Center’s Success
We’ve rolled out many new features over the last three months! These updates are designed to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the experience for both staff and patients. Financial Management

Surgery Center Management
The Daily Appointment Sheet now separates DOB and age into individual columns—and gives you the ability to hide DOB along with all PHI data when using the “Unidentify” option.
The California Regulatory State Reporting options include Homelessness within the Regulatory Reports tab of the visit for documenting based on “U (Unknown), Y(Yes), N(No)”. The default is set to “unknown,” making it easier to stay compliant with less manual input.
Category III CPT codes (0042T–0947T) are now included based on the specifications for 2025 reporting requirements, giving you more accurate and complete benchmarking data..
If you are using HST’s patient payments solution, you can now display your payment URL directly on patient statements, helping patients easily navigate where to pay.
Want all available phone numbers displayed in your appointment schedule report? Now you can select that option for improved patient outreach and coordination.
Case Profit Estimations
Want to check the profitability before scheduling? Use historical data to model potential profit by physician, procedure, and payer before even scheduling a case.
Daily syncing so that your case cost estimates for supplies and implants reflect the latest updates from your practice management system—no manual updates needed.
Now view insurance verification and authorization status directly within Case Profit Estimations, eliminating the need to switch between HST’s surgery center management and case profit estimations.

Patient Estimates
If you are a corporate customer managing multiple facilities, you can now upload a contract once and apply it across locations and payors—eliminating repetitive work and reducing the risk of inconsistency. If you are a corporate customer and would like to add the multi-org contract management to your account, reach out to us on the Community Portal here.
(Also available with Patient Payments) We’ve modernized the patient-facing payment plan view to make it easier for patients to see what they owe and stay on track with their payments.
Enterprise users can now quickly access any estimate or case across their organizations, regardless of where they’re logged in.
Collect & Process Patient Payments
Quickly see which balance notifications were sent, opened, and what balance was shown—giving you a full picture of patient communication.
Centers can now require a minimum percentage to be paid before a procedure takes place. This helps reduce days in A/R and minimize bad debt.
(Also available with Patient Estimates) Easily manage plans with missed or declined payments, keeping your staff focused on the accounts that need attention.
Enable auto-bill to eliminate manual collection of recurring payments. Less effort for staff, less friction for patients.
Installments and down payments can now be automatically associated with a payment plan as soon as they’re made.
Minimum Installment Amounts by Plan Tier
(Also available with Patient Estimates) Customize minimum payment amounts per plan tier to help you collect smaller balances faster.

Scheduling & Collaboration

Scheduling & Care Communication
Physician offices and ASCs can now see all relevant patient scheduling history—helping repeat patients get scheduled faster and more accurately.
ASCs can now choose which fields are required for each physician office—making it easier to tailor forms based on the needs of different specialties.
Scheduling and communication tools now pull real-time code table data (Procedure Codes, Payer Codes, Anesthesia Types, and Cancellation Reasons) from HST’s surgery center management, reducing discrepancies and duplicate entry.
Clinical Operations
Electronic Charting
New fields for expired tidal volume and PEEP settings make documentation even more complete.
Settings for auto-refresh let you and your staff see real-time updates—no need to manually refresh to track where patients are.
Physicians can now update their own templates without admin support. Plus, new options let them exclude implant and specimen sections if they are not needed.
Clinicians can now opt out of wet pad or “over the shoulder” signatures. This gives centers more control over signature workflows without affecting patient documentation.
Data & Analytics
Raw ASC Data
New Alerts You’ll now receive an automatic email notification when you’re nearing your data threshold—so you can avoid surprises.
We’ve also added automatic alerts for Full Load file delays. If your full load file—which contains all your updated data—is not released by our standard delivery time of 4:30 AM CT, you’ll receive an email notification so you stay aware of any delays right away and can plan accordingly.
