Visiting our facility: A COVID-19 Update
At USPI surgical facilities, there is no higher priority than your well-being and the broader health of our communities. We understand the fear and concern surrounding this outbreak, and we are committed to doing all we can to keep you and your family healthy and offer you peace of mind. We are working with local and state health departments, and are following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and recommendations.
For the safety of all patients and caregivers, please stay home and call us for guidance, if you:
- are experiencing fever, muscle aches/fatigue, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, headache, diarrhea, loss of taste, smell, or appetite
- have had any out-of-state or international travel in the past 14 days
- have tested positive for COVID-19
- have had close contact with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 individual in the last 14 days
In order to reduce exposure, we are limiting accompanying guests to 1 adult over the age of 18 (driver) who may be asked to remain in their car until the patient is brought out to them. If the patient is a child (under the age of 18), they may be accompanied by 1 parent/guardian. No visitors under the age of 18.
The center has implemented strategies to minimize risk and support the well-being of all persons.
During this time, your cooperation and understanding is greatly appreciated.
